Kelly Matthews


Kelly is a Chartered Legal Executive in the firm's Dispute Resolution and Litigation department. 

She acts for a wide range of corporate and public sector clients including education providers, care providers, charities, local authorities and NHS commissioners. She has a particular interest and developing specialism in handling disputes affecting the education and care sectors, including school admissions disputes, cases involving special educational needs and educational funding, adult safeguarding, mental capacity and mental health issues, including Court of Protection work. She also has growing specialisms in inquest work and contentious probate.

Kelly also has significant experience of handling cross-class insurance litigation disputes, acting for both insurers and the insured. She further handles coverage and policy wording, professional negligence and contractual disputes.
