Charles Morrish


Prior to joining Trowers & Hamlins, Charles spent ten years working as in-house counsel for George Wimpey Plc. He has considerable knowledge and experience of all forms of construction and services procurement and related documentation.

He also advises both public and private sector clients on PFI/PPP projects and other partnered procurement methods. Charles heads up the firm’s EU procurement practice, advising clients across the public sector on the application and impact of EU procurement directives (and related UK regulations) on all forms of procurement strategy including PFI/PPP and partnered framework agreements. 

Charles is co-author of the SPC 2000 contract, the Association of Consultant Architects Standard Form of Specialist Contract for Project Partnering for use in conjunction with the PPC 2000 form, the widely acclaimed first Standard Form Project Partnering Contract, drafted by the firm.
