Anna Moore


Anna specialises in providing corporate and regulatory advice to a registered providers of social housing, exempt and registered charities, public sector bodies and other not for profit organisations.

She has particular expertise in advising on governance and regulatory issues including the formation of group structures, mergers and other options for collaboration between exempt or registered charities and between charities and other public sector or private sector bodies. Anna also regularly advises on the transfer of engagements and amalgamations of registered societies, full or partial business transfers, parent subsidiary relationships and collaboration arrangements.

Anna also advises on the procedures and processes for board decisions, charitable and non-charitable trading, dealing with conflict of interest issues, board member remuneration and implementation of new governance arrangements including overlapped board structures.

She also advises charitable and non-charitable companies on the conversion to registered societies and intragroup agreements including grouping agreement and service level agreements.

Anna sits on a standing committee of the Charity Law Association (CLA) responsible for reviewing and updating the CLA's model charity governing documents.
