Henna Khan


Henna assists Partners in the Real Estate department with all aspects of development site and property acquisitions and disposals.

Henna works with private developers, housing associations and local authorities. Henna has experience in drafting and reviewing golden brick and turnkey agreements, leases, overage deeds, option and promotion agreements and sale and leaseback.

Henna works with several housing associations and charities on proposed and existing residential development sites. Henna has experience in reviewing and advising on title for such sites and providing advice on how to overcome any title issues identified and/or issues identified during the course of due diligence.

Henna's experience includes site transfer, leasebacks, acquisitions, development agreements, sale agreements and transfer and lease agreements. Henna also has experience in residential property conveyance and lease extensions of residential housing units following the development process.

Henna also has experience in negotiating and drafting new leases, lease renewals, assignment of leases, surrender and re-grant, licences and AST agreements. She has experience in leases of retail shop units, post offices, pubs, restaurants and other new businesses.

Henna is familiar with the due diligence process, title investigations and enquiries of the seller. She has experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for sale and purchase, investment acquisitions, assisting partners with plot sales and purchases, drafting option agreements and being familiar with the use of overage terms within an agreement.

Henna also has an understanding of acquisition finance and has reported to lenders following their key step processes.
