Richard Hing


Richard is a New Zealand qualified intellectual property lawyer with specialist expertise in trade marks, passing off, design rights and domain names.

His practice involves advising clients on the launch of new products and brands, protection of IP rights, enforcing rights against third parties and IP portfolio management. 

He works with clients across a wide range of sectors and assists with the protection and enforcement of their IP throughout the world.  He has particular experience dealing with trade mark and design matters, both pre and post registration, before the Intellectual Property Offices in the UK and EU.

Prior to joining Trowers & Hamlins, Richard practiced in New Zealand, Australia and at another leading firm in the City of London.
