Helen Honeyball


Helen has been in acting for private clients in relation to their estates for over 30 years.  She is experienced in advising on strategies for succession planning and estate planning for high net worth individuals.  

Helen advises on the preparation of Wills.  She also advises in relation to the creation and use of trusts for the purposes of asset protection and inheritance tax mitigation as well as protection for vulnerable beneficiaries.  

Helen deals with the administration of more complex estates including those with an international element and advises in relation to Powers of Attorney and later life issues.  Helen often acts as executor for estates of clients where appropriate.  She is a trustee of a considerable number of private trusts and also acts as attorney for individuals in relation to their financial affairs where appropriate.

With a long-standing presence in the SouthWest the firm acts for many farming families and Helen has a particular expertise in securing agricultural property relief for inheritance tax.

Helen also specialises in the creation of private charitable trusts and is a member of the Charity Law Association as well as the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.  

The Private Wealth Team, which Helen heads in Exeter, has a reputation for providing client friendly  cost effective advice and seeks to support clients and their families pro-actively  and responsively focusing on individual needs and solutions.
