Stephanie Geesink


Stephanie is a Senior Associate in Trowers & Hamlins' Dispute Resolution and Litigation department specializing in construction and engineering disputes with a particular focus on both the residential (both public and private) and hotel & leisure sector. 

Stephanie specialises in disputes concerning defective work, delay, cost overrun, termination and insolvency under all forms of construction contracts (both standard and bespoke).

Stephanie has particular experience in fire safety claims, having acted for main contractor S&T in Premier Inn v AP14 & Ors, and currently advising London Borough of Camden in its £130m claim for various defects at the Chalcots Estate. Alongside claims in the High Court, Stephanie also regularly advises registered providers on the review of their property portfolios on fire safety matters.

In addition to her significant experience of High Court trials, including the Court of Appeal and applications to the Supreme Court, Stephanie also regularly advises clients in adjudication, arbitration and expert determination. Stephanie also provides dispute prevention and risk management advice to a variety of stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project.

Stephanie regularly provides training to clients on dispute avoidance and risk management, and has contributed to publications such as Building Magazine and Construction News. Stephanie is a member of the Urbano Network
