Rebecca has over 20 years experience of working with registered providers, charities, voluntary and public sector bodies.
Her work involves property sale, acquisition and development projects including care homes, key worker and student accommodation.
She has substantial and wide ranging experience in the Portfolio Transactions market in relation to both general needs and supported housing by both private and third sector organisations. She has worked on large scale portfolio sales, disposals and swaps including sales of portfolios in multiple lots, acquisition of portfolios over 1,000 units and (currently) the largest stock swap in the registered provider sector. In addition, Rebecca recently lead the Trowers & Hamlins team on the acquisition of seven extra care schemes for a national registered provider.
Her extensive experience in Portfolio Transactions has enabled her to create, grow and maintain excellent relationships with other professionals who work in this sector.
Rebecca also drafts and negotiates nomination agreements, management agreements, care contracts, support agreements, leases and tenancies.
Rebecca written articles and presented seminars on the Supporting People Programme, the care legislation, as well as Portfolio Transactions.
Rebecca has worked in local authority housing departments, has a degree in Housing Management and Development and is accredited as a Housing Practitioner by the Chartered Institute of Housing.
