Michael Donnellan


Michael specialises in all aspects of property related disputes acting on behalf of both residential and commercial clients including institutional investors.

He advises on all aspects of property litigation including forfeiture, dilapidation, nuisance, injunctions, service charges, rent reviews, professional negligence and lease renewals. His experience also includes acting on joint venture agreements and large-scale regeneration projects including PFT contracts.

His experience also includes advising consortia on claims against local authorities in respect of Housing Benefit; insolvency of contractors and suppliers; termination of outsourced contracts; an extensive experience of advising on potential claims against professional advisers. Michael has a particular expertise in residential disputes including breach of lease, service charges and related areas. He speaks regularly on all aspects of property disputes and has extensive experience in both the First Tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal.
