Emily Aggett


Emily is an Senior Associate in our Dispute Resolution and Litigation department.

She is an experienced litigator who advises local, national and international clients in relation to a wide range of contractual and commercial disputes, high court litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Emily has significant retail banking experience gained both in private practice and in-house with an international retail bank.

Since joining the firm, Emily has worked closely with Paul Keeling and Kathryn Insall to further expand the firm's Commercial Litigation offering both in Exeter and further afield. She has worked closely with Kathryn Insall on aviation litigation work in particular as well as running her own cases advising a range of public sector and private commercial clients, in relation to a variety of commercial disputes.

Emily is a member of the firm's Data Privacy and Information Law group and regularly provides the firm's clients with advice around data protection law and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Fluent in French, Emily has worked and studied in France over a number of years and has a French law qualification. She has spent time on secondments to the dispute resolution team in the Paris office of a previous international law firm she worked for.
