Trowers & Hamlins produces anti-money laundering sector guidance for the National Housing Federation
The firm was asked by the NHF to produce this guidance drawn from its experience giving advice on AML issues to housing associations, government bodies, lenders and commercial organisations.
Partner Ned Beale who led on the project said:
"We have recently advised clients on compliance with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017, drafted policies and procedures, advised on specific suspicious activities and provided training. We have also spoken on the subject at NHF, HIAF and ACES conferences.
We therefore have an overview of common issues faced by organisations in the housing sector, which this authoritative guidance will help to address."
Published by the NHF, the new guidance has also been endorsed by the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish housing federations. Click here to view.
