International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has expanded its private wealth offering in the Middle East by welcoming new partner Alastair Glover.

Alastair joins from Gowling WLG (formerly Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co LLP) in Dubai where he was Head of Private Capital Middle East. Alastair has significant experience in international succession planning including offshore trust and foundation structures, tax advice, immigration and family governance. His clients include high net worth individuals, families and family offices based throughout the GCC.

Alastair is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners and worked closely with the Dubai International Financial Centre on the introduction of the DIFC Wills & Probate Registry in 2015.

Abdul-Haq Mohammed, International Managing Partner at Trowers & Hamlins commented:

"We are continuing to invest in our private wealth capabilities across the entire firm. Alastair has UK, Middle East and broader international experience and is recognised as a leading advisor in the private wealth market.  We are very pleased to welcome him to the team."

Alastair added:  "I am delighted to join Trowers & Hamlins.  I have been very impressed with the firm's ambitions for growing the private wealth practice in the region to complement an already very compelling offering in the Middle East and beyond."
