Trowers & Hamlins advises on Meridian Water Regeneration Project

City, national and international law firm Trowers & Hamlins has advised on the Meridian Water Development, an ambitious £3.5bn regeneration project bringing 10,000 new homes to North London over the next 20 years. Enfield Council recently appointed Barratt as the developers to deliver the scheme.

The firm has advised Enfield Council on all aspects of the project which included: land acquisition, EU Procurement compliance, planning and remediation matters and preparation of the Master Developer Framework Agreement., The firm has also acted for the Council in connection with its Judicial review challenge brought against the Department for Transport in relation to the proposed train service provision at the new Meridian Water Station.

Trowers & Hamlins will continue to advise on all aspects of the project as it develops not only bringing new homes, but also new retail, commercial leisure and cultural facilities to the 85-hectare site.
