Trowers & Hamlins advise Berkeley on its £100m Crossrail station deal

Trowers & Hamlins, the City and international law firm, has advised longstanding client The Berkeley Group ("Berkeley") on its agreement with the Secretary of State for Transport, Transport for London and Crossrail to build a £100m Crossrail station in Woolwich.

Trowers & Hamlins, the City and international law firm, has advised longstanding client The Berkeley Group ("Berkeley") on its agreement with the Secretary of State for Transport, Transport for London and Crossrail to build a £100m Crossrail station in Woolwich.

Berkeley will fund construction of a new "station box" which can be fitted out to form a new station for Crossrail. The station will be located at the centre of their development at the Royal Arsenal, a project which Trowers & Hamlins has been involved in for Berkeley for several years.

Construction work on the new "station box" will get underway shortly and the team at Trowers & Hamlins will continue to advise Berkeley on the design and construction procurement arrangements to see the project through.

Projects and construction partner Stephanie Canham led the team with support from Paul Bartter and Suriya Edwards.
