How can we help you?

International law firm Trowers & Hamlins is one of only five firms appointed to the Department of Health's panel for the Civil Litigation and Arbitration in Medicines and Pharmaceuticals programme (CLAMP).

The tender represented a new opportunity for the firm's national Commercial Litigation practice to demonstrate its expertise in the healthcare sector, as well as their extensive knowledge and experience dealing with complex, high value and high profile litigation and arbitration matters, involving investigations and litigation matters relating to deceit and anti-competitive practices.

This is the first time the Department of Health has tendered for positions on this panel.

The panel is set to run until 2020 for three years, with an option to extend it for a further two years.

Lead partner and national head of Commercial Litigation, Lucy James said:

"We are delighted to be appointed to the Department of Health's panel. Our appointment demonstrates the level of expertise and resource we can offer across our growing national practice and our ability to provide a first rate commercial litigation service to the public sector. We are looking forward to working with the Department's team."

Mark Kenkre and Hilary Blackwell are also part of the Trowers & Hamlins team.
