Our summer vacation schemes are a good way of finding out what life really is like as a trainee at our firm.
We offer 46 places across our London, Birmingham, Exeter and Manchester offices each year. During your time with us, you will be involved in real work - drafting, undertaking research, attending meetings and interacting with a range of people across the firm. You will be teamed with a trainee mentor who will introduce you to each department and be on hand to offer you all the guidance you need. And you will be allocated a supervisor to offer you advice on the work that you will undertake.
We pay every candidate attending our summer vacation schemes. This is currently £300 per week in London and £250 per week in Birmingham, Exeter and Manchester.
The application process for our summer vacation schemes in 2022 will open in early October. To apply, you will need to complete an online application form and successful candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day. Please note that we do not consider any other form of submission (i.e. CV and covering letter) other than our online form.
We assess all summer vacation students for a training contract during their time with us.
Each year, we hold a winter open day for our London office and coffee mornings for our Birmingham, Exeter and Manchester offices.
At the London open day, you will attend presentations on topics ranging from application form tips to life as a trainee at the firm and will have the chance to network with members from these offices. Applications for this year's open day open in early October and you will need to complete an online application form to apply.
At the coffee mornings, you will attend talks by the graduate recruitment team and partners. There will be a Q&A and a networking session afterward. Applications will also open in October.
