We have extensive experience advising project companies and lenders on the successful close of 25 PFI projects and 2 in LIFT projects covering provision of health facilities and staff accommodation and our work has involved us in projects that have been part of the process of the development of standard documentation.
We can advise you on bidding issues and managing projects towards financial close including dealing with consortium members, funders and the supply chain. We have extensive experience of projects where both soft and hard services are included and understand the extensive interface arrangements that are required.
In the context of soft service delivery, we have been involved in schemes that have involved the transfer of staff from the NHS to the private sector including utilising the retention of employment model and we are very familiar with all implications that flow from such transfers.
In addition to PFI and LIFT, we have advised on a number of other innovative health projects including construction and engineering projects utilising a variety of procurement approaches such as partnering and construction management, designed to ensure efficient working so as to cause minimum disruption to a fully operational hospital.
