We act for the owners of high profile art collections and other heritage property and regularly give advice on complex estate planning solutions involving heritage property. This includes advice on appropriate holding structures and setting up maintenance funds for land, buildings and works of art. We can also advise you on the Acceptance in Lieu scheme and have experience of dealing with in situ agreements (whereby assets that have been offered in lieu of Inheritance Tax are allowed to stay in the donor's house, subject to certain access conditions).
