Oil and gas

Our award-winning Energy and Infrastructure team is a market leader in assisting clients to deliver and finance large-scale projects across the Middle East

Oil and gas are critical to the economies of the Middle East.  The development of natural resources remains an important goal for both regional governments and international energy companies.  The creation of alternative energy sources is a newer challenge.

We have a strong track record of advising on the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors, and have a clear understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing the hydrocarbon industry in the Middle East.  Our clients include international energy companies, governments, government-entities and service companies.

Our hydrocarbon team supports international E&P companies with market entry and project bids.  We assist clients with the negotiation of concessions, exploration and production sharing agreements, and licences.  We also advise on the development of large-scale infrastructure such as refineries, pipelines and LNG facilities.

Our team is also familiar with advising on technically challenging projects such as oil shale, sour gas and renewable energy ventures.  Additionally we advise on the downstream petrochemical and industrial sectors, and we are well-known for our project finance expertise.
