Employment and Pensions
Employment and pensions advice is essential to the smooth running of your organisation. You want lawyers with experience of advising on all legal aspects of the employment relationship and we deal with these issues on a daily basis. We enjoy a close relationship with our clients and our knowledge of their business enables us to provide them with a service which is tailored to their needs.
We provide a helpline service over the telephone or by email providing answers to general ad-hoc queries, HR support including writing and reviewing policies, procedures and contracts, and bespoke in-house training for managers and relevant staff.
As well as dealing with general good practice in the workplace we provide advice on redundancies, reorganisations and restructuring. We advise our clients on termination processes and the conduct of all types of employment tribunal claim. Our services also include advice on TUPE, outsourcing and the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, as well as advice on immigration queries about work-permits and visas.
We keep our clients up to date with the frequent changes to employment law by means of regular update seminars, bulletins on cases, legislation and policy changes and a monthly email briefing, hrlaw@trowers.com.
We provide advice on all aspects of pensions law. This ranges from providing advice on the pension implications of the transfer or reorganisation of employees and other pension issues relating to transactions both in the private and public sector. We also provide pensions advice to the trustees of occupational pension schemes and to sponsoring employers.
