Salman is a solicitor in Trowers & Hamlins' Bahrain office and was previously resident in the firm's associate office in Riyadh.  He is a Legal500 recognised banking and finance solicitor who joined Trowers & Hamlins from the reputed law firm in Pakistan, Mohsin Tayebaly & Co (Karachi).  He is qualified as a high court advocate in Pakistan and as a solicitor in the UK.

He has a broad background in developing and emerging markets and has acted for many of the world’s leading financial institutions and high-end borrowers on a wide range of conventional and Islamic finance transactions. His experience includes acquisition financings, asset financings, debt restructurings, Islamic financings, project financings, sovereign borrowings and trade and export financings.

In addition to his finance experience, he has represented a full range of participants in the debt and Islamic capital markets, including issuers (corporate and sovereign), underwriters, lead managers, trustees, investors, regulatory authorities and rating agencies on a variety of transactions including many of Pakistan's most significant debt and Sukuk issuances.
