Rupert Copeman- Hill
Rupert is a Partner in Trowers & Hamlins' International department and is based in the firm's Abu Dhabi office. He specialises in corporate and commercial law. Before moving to the Middle East, Rupert spent over three years with Minter Ellison, a top tier corporate firm in Australia. Prior to Minter Ellison, Rupert specialised in corporate, capital markets and commercial work at Allen & Overy and Nabarro Nathanson.
Rupert has extensive experience in a broad range of corporate transactions in the UAE, the UK and Australia including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, private equity funds, group re-organisations, IPOs and other capital markets offerings, private placements and management buy-outs.
He has also drafted and negotiated a wide range of high value commercial contracts including agreements relating to IT and telecommunications services in particular when he was seconded to SingTel Optus in Sydney.
Rupert also provides advice on all aspects of UAE corporate and commercial law and advises clients on establishing business in the UAE.
