Robert Brodrick
Robert is a partner in the private client department specialising in domestic and international tax and estate planning for wealthy individuals, their advisers and trustees. In relation to his domestic practice, Robert advises the owners of landed estates and heritage chattels, the beneficiaries of onshore and offshore trusts and corporate and individual trustees, as well as preparing Wills and Trusts. He also acts as trustee of a number of substantial trusts.
In relation to his international practice, Robert advises on cross-border tax and estate planning, with a particular emphasis on US/UK individuals and Middle Eastern clients. Robert is familiar with setting up Shari'a compliant structures, and regularly advises non-domiciled individuals who are intending to become resident in the UK on how to structure their assets to protect them from UK tax.
Robert is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners for whom he has recently lectured on Trusts and the Middle East in Guernsey and Jersey.
