Riccardo Abbate
Riccardo is a Partner in the firm's Corporate department.
He advises companies, not-for-profit organisations and individual shareholders (including trustees) on strategic matters as well as on specific transactional and commercial matters. He has acted for purchasers, vendors and management teams in domestic and international acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructurings. He has advised on numerous joint ventures and corporate ventures for UK and non-UK clients in sectors including insurance, leisure, food, manufacturing, publishing, financial, clothing and accessories.
His commercial expertise comprises a significant element of legal and commercial matters relating to outsourcing and the use, development and/or exploitation of technology (including in relation to post acquisition integration). Riccardo has also acted for high profile organisations in relation to their development of national databases and the development and implementation of organisation-wide IT systems as well as their business use of the Internet.
