Ralph Picken
Ralph was responsible in setting up the banking and financial services practice for Trowers and Hamlins' Oman office between 1981 and 1986. Since 1987, Ralph has had extensive experience in advising social landlors and lenders to social landlords in relation to a variety of forms of funding, including syndicated and bilateral lending (including group borrowing arrangements), capital markets issues and all types of derivative documentation. Since 1988 he has acted for a large number of RSLs funding large scale voluntary transfers and estate transfers of Housing Stock. Ralph regulary advised high net worth overseas investors on their inward investment into the commercial and residential property market, and also advises on the English law aspects of Middle East project financings.
Ralph is acknowledged as a Legal Expert and a Leader in the field of Social Housing in both the Legal Business: Legal Experts directory and Chambers and Partners' Guide to the Legal Profession.
