Jeremy Ingham
Jeremy is a Partner in Trowers & Hamlins’ International Finance Department in Bahrain which he joined in 2006 from Pannone LLP (Manchester).
Jeremy's main practice areas are Islamic finance, conventional debt finance and funds establishment. He also advises on licensing and regulatory matters falling within the remit of the Central Bank of Bahrain.
Whilst Jeremy worked in the UK he specialized in all areas of corporate banking work acting for banks and other financial institutions as well as borrowers. Jeremy's main practice areas were real estate finance, development finance, acquisition finance and receivables finance.
In addition to his conventional finance background Jeremy has gained significant experience in sukuk, musharaka, murabaha and ijara based transactions since moving to Bahrain.
Jeremy advises investment firms and banks on the structuring and establishment of regulated and unregulated funds (both conventional and Shari'ah compliant) that are domiciled in both the traditional offshore jurisdictions and Bahrain.
Clients include Gulf Finance House, Khaleeji Commercial Bank, National Bank of Bahrain, Arcapita Bank, Bahrain Islamic Bank, Ahli United Bank and Global Investment House.
