Jennifer's work experience includes many aspects of corporate and commercial law, including incorporations, joint ventures, distribution and franchising, and acquisitions including by private equity funds. Jennifer is acknowledged as a Legal Expert in the field of Corporate and Finance in the European Legal Experts directory 2007 and as a Leader in the field of Corporate/Commercial in Global Chambers and Partners' Guide to the Legal Profession 2007.

Being based in the regional office in Dubai, Jennifer's work often involves Gulf countries other than the UAE, including those where Trowers has an office, as well as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and countries in the wider region.  Jennifer has also acted in numerous mergers and acquisitions, including as local counsel on various multinational company restructurings.
Jennifer has spent almost fifteen years living and working in Dubai, and has extensive knowledge of the law and practice in the region.  Jennifer's clients include many household names in the retail, fast food, hospitality and entertainment industries, including McDonald's, Walt Disney, Marks & Spencer, Hilton and Harvey Nichols.

Jennifer has worked closely on many of the projects managed from the Dubai office, including major project work in Kuwait and a proposed Topping Plant in Dubai where she was primarily responsible for several project documents.  Jennifer was also heavily involved in the ADNOC/Borealis petrochemicals project in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, as sole external legal counsel in relation to all human resources documentation involving nine contracts.  She has advised on two BOT (build, own, transfer) projects: an infrastructure project in Dubai and a leisure development elsewhere in the UAE.

Trowers & Hamlins' Dubai office is Honorary Legal Adviser to the British Consul General.  Trowers was ranked No. 1 firm in the Middle East and North Africa by Chambers Global 2002-2003.  Jennifer is named as an expert in corporate and finance law for the UAE in the Legal Business Legal Experts Report 2007.  She was Chairman of the British Business Group of Dubai and the Northern Emirates from 2003 to 2006, following three years as Deputy Chairman.  Jennifer has also developed a specialism in education, having participated extensively in the founding and development of The British University in Dubai, involving the Universities of Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham amongst others.  She is a member of its governing Council.
