Diane Preston
Diane Preston is head of the pensions team at Trowers & Hamlins. Diane has specialised in pensions since qualifying in 1988. Diane has considerable expertise in transactional and advisory work for both corporate and public sector clients, in particular issues relating to legislative compliance, scheme documentation, scheme amendment, mergers and wind-up. Recent work experience includes negotiating with the Pensions Regulator and advising on new compliance issues. Diane is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and is a former member of the Sub-Committee on pension sharing and divorce. Diane contributes to and writes articles for pension publications from time to time and has recently written a chapter on the legal position of employers and trustees in a forthcoming publication on pension scheme deficits.
