Chad Sutton
Chad specialises in planning, highways and compulsory purchase law, but also has a detailed knowledge of building regulations, traffic, environmental and public law.
He joined Trowers & Hamlins as a Solicitor in 2005 from Reading firm Clarkslegal LLP, after having previously spent two years working for the London Boroughs of Hillingdon, Ealing and Tower Hamlets.
Chad advises both property developer and local authority clients on a wide range of matters including the planning application process, enforcement action, judicial review of planning permissions, compulsory purchase orders, listed buildings and conservation areas, stopping up of highways, and negotiating Section 106 Agreements, Section 278 and Section 38 Agreements.
He has written articles on planning law which have been published in the Property Law Journal and in Auto Trader Magazine.
