Abdul-Haq Mohammed
Abdul-Haq is a partner in Trowers & Hamlins international department, specialising in real estate. He heads our Middle East real estate practice and is based in Bahrain. Before moving to Bahrain in November 2005, Abdul-Haq spent several years in the Commercial Property department of Trowers & Hamlins’ London office, where he acted for a range of investors on the sale and disposal of office, retail and industrial property.
Abdul-Haq advises developers and investors on major property projects in the region, and has particular experience in the structuring issues relating to master-planned mixed-use projects. He is currently acting on many of the biggest and most prestigious developments taking place in Bahrain, including Bahrain Bay, Reef Island, Durrat Al Bahrain, Riffa Views, Health Oasis, the Lagoon and the World Trade Center. Abdul-Haq is also a member of our Islamic Finance working group and has advised on Shari'ah compliant real estate funds and the financing of acquisitions and development using Islamic finance structures.
