Trowers & Hamlins win at Builder & Engineer Awards 2011

Trowers & Hamlins, the City and international law firm, was last night awarded Construction Law Firm of the Year at the Builder & Engineer Awards 2011, in recognition of their industry leading contentious and non-contentious construction team, and the high profile work that the firm has undertaken this year.

Following the presentation of the award, Dr. David Mosey, Head of Projects and Construction at Trowers & Hamlins said:

“This award demonstrates not only the expertise that our highly skilled team offers to clients, but also the extent of our involvement in various initiatives that have helped shape the construction industry.

This is demonstrated most fully by two projects in particular. First, the guidance we have authored with CITB Construction Skills, which offers benchmarks to help public sector companies achieve balanced employment and skills on a variety of construction contracts in wide ranging sectors; and second, our 2011 Guide to TPC2005 and STPC2005. We are proud that this has now emerged as the must-have guide for all clients, service providers, consultants and advisers seeking innovative and cost effective approaches to the delivery of term works, services and supplies.

Our success at last night’s awards is a testament to the strength and scope of our work. We would like to thank our clients for their continuing support.”
