Trowers & Hamlins sponsors Public Services Award
The awards were set up nine years ago to showcase innovation and best practice in delivering public services. The awards are open to private, voluntary and community bodies as well as public sector organisations involved in commissioning or delivering public services.
There are eight award categories:
- Financial initiative
- Digital innovation
- Partnership working
- Evidence-based policy making
- Communications project
- Community engagement project
- Public leader of the year
- Society Guardian public servant of the year
Last year's overall winner was the social enterprise Tukes part of NAViGO that provides mental health care and jobs in north-east Lincolnshire.
Nominations are open until 13 July and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony held in Central London November 2012.
