Trowers & Hamlins

Trowers & Hamlins LLP, the city and international law firm, has advised the Cambian Group in connection with its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Signpost Children's Services Limited (Signpost). 

The Cambian Group is a group of companies owned by private equity fund GI Partners, and is the UK's largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning difficulties.

The acquisition of Signpost, which completed on 5 April 2012, is a significant one for the Cambian Group as Signpost is the only provider in the country specialising in the provision of residential care for deaf children with additional complex needs.

The Trowers & Hamlins team was led by corporate partners Jennie Gubbins and Tim Nye, with specialist support from the firm's employment and property departments.
