Alan Tate, Exeter office – joined Trowers & Hamlins in 2006 from Burges Salmon with a broad range of experience within the construction sector, providing advice on both the public and private sector and regeneration. As part of the regeneration of Temple Quay, Bristol, he was part of the owner occupier team whose project won the British Council of Offices’ award for the South in 2003.
Tania Tandon, London office - specialises in all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Dealing with TUPE issues in PFI and PPP, Tania has also advised on a wide range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions and property transfers as well as developing a strong track record in diversity and equal opportunities. Tania joined Trowers & Hamlins in 2004 from Eversheds.
Emma Tarran, London office - joined Trowers & Hamlins’ RSL and Charities Governance Team in 2005 from Winckworth Sherwood. Emma has a strong reputation in acting for charitable and voluntary sector organisations and extensive experience of advising Registered Social Landlords (RSLs), in particular on corporate governance issues including group structures, mergers, governance reviews, charity law and regulatory requirements.
Julianne Walshe, London office - has worked on a wide range of housing projects. She has led teams advising Registered Social Landlords in regeneration projects as well as acting for key players in the university market on their purchase and redevelopment of university halls of residence, she also regularly advises on conditional contracts, agreements for lease and clawback arrangements.
These new appointments bring the total number of partners in Trowers & Hamlins to 110.
