Trowers & Hamlins appoints fifteen new partners

Reflecting the firm’s recent strong record in advising on major private equity deals and AIM work, two of the new partners are within the Corporate Department in London.

The new partners are: 

  • James Johnson - Corporate department, specialises in M&A work, joint ventures and private equity.  
  • James Lyons - Corporate department, specialises in company law and corporate finance and M&A work
  • Christopher Paul - Projects and Construction department, advises contractors, commercial clients, local authorities and housing associations.
  • Jessica Taylor - Projects and Construction department, specialises in construction and engineering law, advises both lenders and public sector clients
  • Eileen Bruce - Commercial Property department, has experience in commercial property, and property investment and management.
  • Andrew Barnard - Housing Projects department, specialises in development and regeneration, corporate governance, partnerships and joint ventures
  • Robert Beiley - Public Sector Housing department, works on housing transfers and group structures
  • Robert Horne - Dispute Resolution and Litigation department, specialises in construction related disputes, acting for sub-contractors and contractors
  • Andrew Greaves – Projects and Construction, Manchester office, advises local authorities, registered social landlords, employers, contractors and sub-contractors
  • Georgina Savill – Housing Projects, Exeter office, advises registered social landlords and public sector outsourcers
  • Rupert Copeman-Hill - Abu Dhabi office, advises on mergers and acquisitions, company floatations and restructuring, and all aspects of local law
  • Henry Cort - Dubai office, specialises in project finance, project development with an emphasis on international infrastructure and development projects
  • Abdul-Haq Mohammed - Bahrain office, specialises in commercial property and Islamic Finance
  • Charles Schofield - Oman office, has experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, general commercial work and advising companies in corporate governance
  • Tim Armsby - Cairo office, advises on a wide range of commercial, corporate, project and finance matters.  He has experience in a variety of international projects and commercial matters including IPPs, gas pipelines and petrochemical plants.
