Trowers & Hamlins

Trowers & Hamlins has advised Currie & Brown Group on the sale of the group's interest in the Australian consultancy Currie & Brown (Australia) Pty Ltd ("CBA")  to AMEC. The total deal is worth A$ 36.4m for CBA's shareholders, who include Currie & Brown International Limited and local management.

The sale is part of a continued strategic re-structuring of Currie & Brown's global activities and will free funds for expansion in key markets.

Michael Pattinson, Head of Corporate led the deal for Trowers & Hamlins and worked with fellow Corporate partner Tony Poole.
